Editorial policy
Modern Screen Review aims to make screen choices easier to see and discuss. Our editorial work should be clear about what is observation, what is interpretation and what needs correction.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against suitable sources and give enough context for readers to follow the point being made. Interpretations are presented as readings, not settled facts. We do not imply first-hand testing or research where none took place.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for their relevance to readers and fit with our coverage. A commercial relationship does not guarantee editorial approval, a favourable view or a particular conclusion.
Corrections
Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. Please identify the article and the detail in question. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making the nature of a substantive change clear.
Partner and sponsored material
Paid or partner material is labelled clearly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Partner placements are identified as such, and their presence does not imply endorsement of every product, service or claim.
Screens are made of choices
A crop, a pause or a line of text can change what stands out. We look at those choices without assuming there is only one way to read them.
