Partnerships
Modern Screen Review considers collaborations that fit its coverage of screen form, language, sound and interaction, while keeping editorial material distinct from commercial arrangements.
Possible collaborations
We consider clearly scoped projects such as commissioned explainers, educational collaborations and relevant partner placements. A proposal should say what is being offered, who it is for, what contribution is expected and how any commercial relationship would work.
Partner placements
We may accept standing partner placements when they are relevant to the publication and clearly identified. Placement does not confer editorial control or imply that Modern Screen Review endorses every claim or offering associated with a partner.
Clear labelling
Sponsored, commissioned or partner material is labelled so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial work. We do not disguise paid content as an ordinary article, and editorial conclusions are not sold as part of a placement.
Propose a project
Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include the proposed format, intended audience, timing and any relevant commercial terms; a proposal is subject to editorial review.
Screens are made of choices
A crop, a pause or a line of text can change what stands out. We look at those choices without assuming there is only one way to read them.
