Modern Screen Review welcomes pitches that help readers notice how screens direct attention. We are interested in precise, self-contained ideas, not broad claims about how everyone watches or uses technology.
What to pitch
Propose an original piece about a screen choice, convention or technique: a particular kind of framing, an editing pattern, the role of silence, a type treatment or a way an interface invites action. Explain the central question and what a reader will understand by the end.
What makes a strong proposal
Keep the subject focused, give a working title and a short outline, and note any examples or sources the piece would rely on. Choose subjects that can be handled with care and useful context without unsupported claims, professional advice or hazardous instructions.
Where to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please wait for a response before sending a full draft.
Screens are made of choices
A crop, a pause or a line of text can change what stands out. We look at those choices without assuming there is only one way to read them.
